I AM BACK... after many long months of not writing I decided to come back.  I'll just jump right back in with my most recent knit:

So next I should probably block it a little better because the sleeves are kind of funky.. but it is super soft yarn and was a really fun pattern.  I really like all their patterns and they have this great sweater with little puff sleeves that I might have to do as well.

So now I am just awaiting my order of Twinkle's Big City Knits from amazon-  I have my eye on the Best Friend Cardigan...

It's a swordfish.  You can't see really well in the photo, but it has a little green eye and it's great... So what do you think??  I've been wearing it about every day since it's been done.  Alrighty.  this is short but I wanted to share....

Hello to all.  My internet is hooked up now, although my connection is very unreliable.  I'm gonna work on that.  In knitting news, I have a bolero almost finished, so I'll spare the progress shot for the final picture which should come around this weekend.  I am working full time now, as I should be, but this means for me of course less knitting and internet time.... which sucks.

I recently went on a trip to Colorado with my boyfriend and his family giving me lots of time to work on my bolero.  We visited his house in Minnesota in addition to spending a beautiful weekend outside of Denver.  We went to an outdoor wedding of his childhood friend's, and it was amazing.  Really casual and sweet.  Before we went home I had the opportunity to ride a horse!  This was at Gabe's house in Minnesota (they have horses... ). This was a big event for me.  It's been many years since I got on a horse.  Here is a very blurry red-eyed picture of me on the horse (her name is Miss Oooh, like Mooo):

i am soooooooooooo behind!! wow. so i'm not gonna give a bunch of excuses (just a few...). the truth is i've just gotten behind. it's been hot and lots of family visitors and general laziness in the summer. i don't have much to show in terms of knitting. but i do want to tell everyone about this cool website i know about. some unique and interesting stuff
